OK…quick post today because I just realized I haven’t posted in a week.
- The knee flared up on a short run last Friday, but I’m going to try again this Friday with ibuprofen. If it feels OK, the Physician’s Assistant says I will probably be OK to run more.
- Chris and I joined the YMCA this week. Because I haven’t been able to run as much, I need a place to do alternative workouts. Went this morning to the Core and Strength class and then did the elliptical machine for 20 minutes with my gal pal Heather.
- I’m keeping track of my food intake again and shifting food around and making changes. Eating so many different foods during the holidays jolted my taste buds into wanting some variety in my diet. Today’s treat: homemade tomato soup.
I’ve sort of resolved to make my blog more interesting this year. I like writing about running, but I realize that the blogs that I find most interesting have content I can take with me and apply to my life. I want to be one of those bloggers, so I’ll continue to write about running, but I’m going to mix in my thoughts on blogging, writing, crocheting, and, well, anything else my little heart desires.
